We are seeking an experienced Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) Upgrade Specialist to manage and execute the upgrade of Oracle JD Edwards from version 9.1 to version 9.2. This project-based role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful migration, configuration, testing, and optimization of JD Edwards systems to the latest version.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the upgrade of Oracle JD Edwards from version 9.1 to 9.2, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth transition.
- Assess current system configurations and provide recommendations for improvements or optimizations during the upgrade process.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that JD Edwards 9.2 aligns with business processes.
- Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure the upgraded system functions optimally.
- Develop and execute data migration strategies and testing procedures to validate successful upgrades.
- Manage customizations, reports, and interfaces during the upgrade, ensuring compatibility with version 9.2.
- Provide post-upgrade support, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical guidance to end-users.
- Document the upgrade process, including any challenges, solutions, and best practices for future reference.
- Train internal team members on the new features and functionality of JD Edwards 9.2.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-3 years of proven experience in upgrading Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) from version 9.1 to 9.2, including previous project engagements.
- Strong technical background in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, with a deep understanding of the system's architecture, modules, and customizations.
- Experience with data migration, testing, and troubleshooting during an upgrade.
- Ability to develop, test, and implement solutions for JD Edwards integrations, customizations, and configurations.
- Familiarity with JD Edwards tools and applications, including E1 Pages, Orchestrator, and EnterpriseOne mobile apps.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
