Terms of Service
Last updated: October 30, 2026
These terms apply to your use of devgate.ca (the "site"), operated by "DevGate". By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These terms cover the website only. Any software development, consulting or other services we provide are governed by a separate written agreement signed with each client.
Using the site
You may browse the site, read and share its content, and contact us or apply for jobs through it. You agree not to:
- use the site for anything unlawful, or to send spam, malware or misleading information,
- try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, its admin area or its data,
- scrape or copy the site in bulk, or use automated tools that place unreasonable load on it,
- impersonate someone else when contacting us or applying for a job.
We may block access to anyone who breaks these rules.
Our content
The text, design, logos, case studies, images and other material on the site belong to DevGate or are used with permission from their owners, such as our clients. You may quote or link to our pages with a credit to DevGate. You may not reuse our content commercially, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.
Client names, logos and case studies are shown with permission or as factual descriptions of our work. They remain the property of their owners.
Information on the site
We work to keep the site accurate and current, but it is provided for general information. Descriptions of services, timelines, examples and results are illustrative and are not an offer or a guarantee. Anything we commit to is set out in a proposal or contract.
Job postings describe roles we are hiring for. They are not an offer of employment, and we may close or change a posting at any time.
What you send us
When you send us an enquiry or a job application, you confirm the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the contact form; we can arrange a non-disclosure agreement before detailed discussions. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Links to other sites
The site links to third-party sites and services, for example Google Calendar for booking calls, LinkedIn and our products' websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about the site, including that it will always be available, error-free or free of harmful components.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, DevGate is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about the site will be handled by the courts of Ontario, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
