JOB DETAILS:
DevGate Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced PHP Developer to join our team. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and high-quality web applications using PHP. You will work closely with the development team to understand requirements and design solutions that meet the business objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and develop high-quality web applications using PHP
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Participate in code review and ensure the quality of codebase
• Mentor and guide junior developers in the team
• Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and stakeholders
Job Requirements:
• Proven experience as a PHP Developer with 4+ years of experience in PHP development
• Strong experience with PHP and related web technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience in working with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
• Good understanding of SQL and database design
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with third-party libraries
• Solid understanding of design patterns and architectural principles
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment
Education:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
