JOB DETAILS:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the infrastructure and tools that enable our development and operations teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently. Your expertise in DevOps practices and technologies will drive automation, scalability, and reliability across our systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline our development processes and ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
Automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability
• Continuously optimize infrastructure to improve performance, cost-efficiency, and resource utilization
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD
• Streamline the build, test, and deployment processes to enable frequent and reliable software releases
• Implement and manage release automation, including environment configuration, artifact management, and deployment strategies
• Architect, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Implement and optimize cloud services like compute, storage, networking, and databases
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effective usage and performance
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system health, performance, and availability
• Set up proactive monitoring, logging, and analytics tools to identify and address issues before they impact the system
• Collaborate with the security team to implement and enforce security best practices and compliance requirements
• Implement access controls, encryption, and secure networking configurations to protect systems and data
• Share knowledge and best practices with team members and provide guidance on DevOps methodologies and tools
• Contribute to the development of DevOps standards, processes, and documentation
Job Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong expertise in DevOps practices, tools, and methodologies
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Solid understanding of Networking and on-premises deployments
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience working with Open-shift containerization
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance principles
• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Shell, Python, or PowerShell)
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Education:
Bachelor\’s degree in computer science, engineering, Or a related field
Location: Sector F, DHA Phase 1, Islamabad
