Software Project Manager

JOB DETAILS:
As an Intermediate Software Project Manager with around 1 year of experience, you will be responsible for managing projects within our organization. You will play a vital role in overseeing project activities, coordinating resources, and ensuring project success. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams will contribute to the timely and efficient completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing project plans, defining project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines.

• Gather requirements and create a comprehensive project plan, including work breakdown structure and resource allocation.

• Support the execution of project plans by coordinating project activities, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress.

• Ensure that project tasks are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

• Assist in coordinating and allocating resources effectively, considering the skills, availability, and workload of team members. Support project team members, providing guidance and support as needed.

• Assist in identifying and assessing project risks. Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.

• Monitor and track risks throughout the project lifecycle and take appropriate actions to minimize their impact on project outcomes.

• Assist in ensuring project deliverables meet defined quality standards and are aligned with project requirements. Support regular quality reviews, inspections, and corrective actions to address any deviations or deficiencies.

• Support the management of changes to project scope, schedule, and resources.

• Assist in assessing change requests and their impact on project objectives. Assist in obtaining necessary approvals and implementing changes effectively.

• Assist in creating and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant records. Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for future reference.

Requirements:

• Around 1 year of experience in a project management role.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong knowledge of SDLC, project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.

• Proficiency in project management software tool like Jira is a plus.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Education:
Bachelor\’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering) or equivalent experience
